I'm a 45 year old SAHM. I live on the East coast of Suffolk with my lovely hubby, our 17 year old son and our totally mad 13 year old Labradoodle. I love all papercrafts, but at the moment my passion is for cardmaking and scrapbooking. Thanks for visiting.
If you like what you see here, please feel free to take inspiration from any of my designs for your own personnal use, but please don't copy them and pass them off as your own and not give me credit (that's not a nice thing to do), or enter them into competitions, or submit them for publication. If you do make anything inspired by my work, please let me know, i'd love to see it.
This weeks PfP challenge theme chosen by the talented Michele, is 'Swirls & Sparkles'.For my DT card the image i have used is Willow with Santas stocking by Whiff of Joy, the sparkle was added using stickles.
Our sponsor this week is Letraset and the prize is one of their fabulous stamping kits.
What ever happened to the last week? It's Tuesday again already and time for a new PfP challenge. This weeks theme chosen by the talented Debs is WOW (white on white).
On my DT card i have used Cosy Polly Penguin by DigiStampBoutique.
Our sponsor this week is Digi Stamp Boutique and the prize is 6 digi images of the winners choice.
We also have a mini DT call over at PfP, check out this post for all the details.
Whilst at the Sarah's Cards retreat last weekend i actually scrapped!! I snatched time between assisting in classes, working the till and calling the bingo to do just one page over the whole weekend. This is actually the first page i've done since March, (expect for doing my sample page for Jen's class). I really enjoyed doing this page and absorbed some creative vibes from the talent around me.
The papers i've used are from American Crafts - Chap range.
There are still a few spaces left for our next retreat in March, but i don't think they will be be around much longer.
We've just had the 3rd Sarah's Cards retreat in Warrington over the weekend. It was a fabulous weekend, spend with an amazing bunch of ladies. Although it was very tiring i loved every minute. Think i'm suffering jet lag after travelling so far up North. :)
Check out this post over on the Sarah's Cards blog for some photos of the weekend, and keep your eyes peeled for some pictures of the class layouts that are coming soon.
This year our charity was the Alzheimer's Society which is very close to both Sarah's and my hearts. Lots of money was raised through raffling off a gorgeous quilt made by Sarah, the charity table and also from a card class i did, which £2 from each kit sold went to the charity.
Here's the cards, that were part of the class i taught. I think i was aiming a little high to think we would get anywhere completing three cards in an hour, but most people finished them off in the crop room.
This weeks PfP challenge theme chosen by the the talented Denise, is 'For a child'. As it's Halloween next week i have made my 5 year old Nephew a cute little tag gift box filled with yummy Haribo ghosts.
The image i used is Skully, one of the Dinky Ghoulz from Squiggle Stamps.
You may notice the image is coloured exactly as it is on the shop website, that's because it's the same one as i coloured lots of the images for the website.
Our sponsor this week is Letraset and the prize for one lucky randomly drawn winner is one of their fabulous stamping kits.
Another week gone by and time for a new challenge over on PfP. This weeks theme ' Altered but not square', has been chosen by the talented Anja.
The image i have used on my project, which is cookie mix in a jar, is 'What's cooking' by Mo Manning. This mix makes at least three dozen delicious cookies, (think Millies cookies, mmmm).
If you would like the PDF of my tag with the recipe and instuctions, you can download it here.
Our sponsor this week is Joanna Sheen, and the prize for one lucky winner drawn at random is a £10 voucher to spend in the online store.
This week it's my turn to set the theme for the PfP challenge and i have chosen 'Planes, trains and automobiles', so that's what we want to see on your creations this week.
On my DT sample card I have used a cute Mo Manning image called Dream, and the wordie bit is from Create with TLC.
Our sponsor this week is Letraset and the prize is one of their fabulous stamp kits.
